Mrs. Sherpa took over Sherpa Society since the sudden passing of Mr. Ang Kami Sherpa in 1982. In the past years, with the great support from the team consisting of Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa, Late Ang Tsering Sherpa, Late Ang Tendi Sherpa, Late Mohan Gurung and Pasang Maya Sherpa, Sherpa Society achieved the milestone.
Mrs. Sherpa is a very kind, friendly woman who remains actively involved in different projects. She is one of the most respected figures amongst the community. Since 1982, over 3 decades, despite a lot of ups and downs in the country’s political situation, Sherpa Society were still able to carry on their services and are proud to remain in the business. Thousands of people around the world have utilized our services to be in the mountains from the east to the west of Nepal as well as Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim.
