I take guided tour quite seldom as a bad guide can easily spoil the whole vacation. This time I had my elder parents with me doing Manaslu trek and in the end I was quite happy that I took a guided trek from Sherpa Society instead of doing it all alone. I was quite happy with the organisation and the guide we had, very professional making the trek as comfortable as possible and solving the issues to allow you to focus on the trek and your emotions.
The second time I have been with this company, both times Meena has been friendly and professional at organising treks for me along with a trip to Chitwan at very short notice. Mohan and Laxman are both friendly and pleasant guys to spend time with whilst trekking

With Sherpa Society, we did a lot of trekking during the last years (Dhaulagiri, Mustang, Kanchenchunga, Langtang, and twice Manaslu & Tsum Valley) Since 2003, we couldn´t stop coming again to see the beautiful landscape with it´s most spectacular peaks and to meet these warm and friendly people. On top we were most content and happy to meet Meena again who arranged our treks (in a group of friends or only we two of us). Meena did this in such a perfect and hearty way, so that we always felt most welcome, safe and protected. We had a lot of fun with our experienced guides and porters-and we were satisfied that all our personal ideas and wishes could be fulfilled,so we always could enjoy our time in Nepal. Even in extraordinary situations we could rely totally on the professional and prompt support and effective help of Meena. Thanks a lot for this gorgeous time during all the years !! Amazing organisation for our group of 10 friends. Ang Nuru, Guide, and assistant guides Dawa and Kumar could not have been more helpful. Solving any difficulties and always with a big smile. They got a group of trekkers aged between 50 and 75 to Everest Base Camp and back - brilliant, caring and were very much part of our group and were with us every step of the way with much merriment.

In october 2014 my husband and me went to Mustang. This was my 5 th trek organised by SHERPA SOCIETY (Dhaulagiri 2003, Mustang 2007, Kanchenjunga 2010, Langtang Gosainkund 2011). We had a wonderful trekkingtour only the two of us, our guide Kumar and our two porters. So we could do the tour in the most individual way, depending only on our personal interests And the weather. We enjoyed this facinating landscape, villages, monestaries in the glimmering Light of freshly fallen snow. We don't leave a country like yours so easily, and the heart and the memories of Dolpa will stay for a long time in our mind. It was a very fabulous trip, exceptional with wonderful and very different landscapes. In all the village the welcome of people was very nice and human. Every day we got surprises and our eyes were continuously filled with wonder. All was perfect except the taxes for walking which are really a kind of racket...but we have no choice...!!! The main staff, the guide Binod, the famous cook Padam and his assistant Buddi were at the top for us and it was really quiet, peaceful to forget our problems in France and to appreciate our holidays and Dolpa of course. Binod was a true father, brother and son for us. He is very human, intelligent, attentive and thoughtful and our dicussions during walking and on evening were very interesting and always construtive to understand the "Nepalese mind". He is now our fifth son and the fourth brother of Jeremie. I want to thank you for the perfect organization will visit again next year.
